ABOUT ME

I'm Geveve Krohne, the founder with a vision behind L3kker.com and the driving force propelling #vhv (Viva’s Hope Village). My story begins in Namibia, South West Africa, in a small city called Keetmanshoop, affectionately known as Afi 12 by my late uncle T. The sandy streets of Keetmanshoop, the southernmost side of the world, were more than just my playground—they were my mentor.

Raised by my grandmother, who could only afford one outfit, I became adept at the art of resourcefulness. Using her sewing machine, she would meticulously craft replicas of that single outfit, ensuring that I felt just as equal and beautiful as my peers. This humble upbringing instilled in me qualities of boldness, courage, creativity, and strength that define me today.

Despite never having the luxury of expensive or fashionable attire, those stitched-up outfits became a symbol of resilience and determination. My grandmother's words, 'jy lyk l3kker' (meaning 'you look beautiful'), echoed in my ears, reinforcing the idea that true beauty transcends material wealth.

This journey fueled a silent promise I made to myself as a child—to one day have the freedom to buy all the clothes and shoes I desired. However, life had a more extraordinary plan for me. Instead of just acquiring a wardrobe, I was bestowed with the opportunity to create my own clothing brand. Today, I am living the dream that I never gave up on.

From the southernmost part of the world, where dreams seemed distant, I stand as a testament that anyone can rise from their own 'bottom of the world.' My story is not just one of personal triumph; it's an inspiration for others to pursue their dreams relentlessly. That's the essence of L3kker.com and #vhv—empowering individuals to believe in the beauty of their dreams and embrace the journey from the bottom to the top.
